Welcome to Marquis du Soleil   

Step into a world of enchantment and wonder. Inspired by fairytales and beloved fantasy books, I aim to capture the beauty of nature and imagination with my artwork.

Driven by a desire to share my art with the world, I opened an Etsy shop in 2011. My first products were prints and bookmarks, and I've since expanded to enamel pins, hand-painted mugs and ornaments, and various useful household items and cute ephemera. I've now outgrown Etsy, and have opened my own shop. I'm excited for what the future holds!

Founded on a passion for telling stories through my art, my goal is to create vibrant and captivating paintings. From mythical ladies and epic heroes, to legendary monsters and the occasional mischievous cat, each piece is a celebration of fantasy and folklore.

My art extends beyond the canvas to products that will enrich your everyday life. Now on a more personal note; I spend an unhealthy amount of time at creative pursuits, own more books than I could possibly ever read, and am a serial word maker-upper. I currently have 3 very silly cats and roughly a million houseplants. When not painting, you can usually find me writing, reading, hiking, gardening, or practicing the fine art of procrastination.
